Does SaneFocus need Accessibility permission?
No. SaneFocus restores focus by asking macOS to reactivate the app you were using before quick capture. It does not need Accessibility permission for this behavior.
Where are notes stored?
Notes are stored locally on your Mac. SaneFocus does not require an account and does not upload your notes or analytics.
What is included for free?
SaneFocus is free to download and use for local notes. Full Unlock is a one-time purchase for the keyboard-first shortcut workflow.
Does the 14-day trial become a subscription?
No. The trial starts only when you choose to start it. It does not renew, and it does not automatically charge when it ends.
How do I restore Full Unlock?
Open SaneFocus from the menu bar, choose Manage Unlock, and use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that owns Full Unlock.
How do I report a bug?
Send an email with your macOS version, SaneFocus version, what happened, and the steps that reproduce the issue if you know them.
Can I request a feature?
Yes. Feature requests are welcome. A short description of the workflow you are trying to improve is especially helpful.
